Flagship Projects
With over a decade of hands-on experience, Zanda has played a key role in delivering critical engineering solutions across the globe. Below are just a few highlights of the complex, high-stakes projects we’ve successfully delivered:
Commissioning of the World’s Tallest Jack-Up Rigs
Client: Keppel FELS, Singapore
Project Duration: 2 years
Zanda played a key role in the commissioning of jacking systems for a fleet of three sister jack-up rigs—the Intrepid, Interceptor, and Inspirer—widely recognized as the tallest jack-up oil rigs in the world, each with leg lengths of 206.8 metres (678 ft).
Designed for year-round operation in the challenging conditions of the North Sea, these rigs can operate in water depths of up to 150 metres. The project was carried out over a two-year period at the Keppel FELS Shipyard in Singapore, where our team worked across all three vessels as a single, integrated commissioning mission.
Our work involved full-system start-up, testing, and validation—ensuring each rig met the stringent operational and safety standards required for offshore deployment.
Client: Rolls-Royce (Subcontracted)
Location: Barnoldswick, UK
Project Duration: 18 months
Zanda was subcontracted by Rolls-Royce to lead the setup and commissioning of a state-of-the-art factory in Barnoldswick, UK, dedicated to the manufacture of fan blades for jet engines. This complex 18-month project involved advanced mechanical, electrical, and automation system integration—ensuring the facility met the highest standards of precision, safety, and performance.
These projects reflect our commitment to engineering excellence and our ability to deliver in demanding, high-performance environments across multiple industries.
